
At the higher tiers, you get 4K exports with HitFilm Creator and up to 8K exports with HitFilm Pro. The free version of HitFilm offers basic features and unlimited exports up to HD. The other two are called Creator and Pro, respectively. The first tier is called Free, and it’s, well, free. There are three tiers to choose from (plus a fourth tier for businesses). It’s kind of a combination of Photoshop and Lightroom, but without the steep learning curve. If you are more into editing still images, Imerge, another FXhome application, is here for you. So you’ll get an easy-to-use, yet powerful video editing / VFX suite. Artlist acquired the company behind it, FXhome, last year ( blog post here) and they have integrated their stock music / sound effects / stock footage platform directly into HitFilm.

To get the black background to appear first i pulled my film back, leaving a little space for where there over each other so that the title can go into the film as well.That’s where HitFilm comes in handy. After i did the things mentioned before, dragged that composition shot from the media pannel and into my editor which placed it just above my film. The way i get the opening title slide to lay over my film like that is by creating a new composition shot and then creating a text tab. The dissolving effect gives a sense of mystery (Like the one of Asia's birth Title because it represents the color of Asia's eyes (her unhumane side) and So the title will start by being dissolved and thenįocused and then back to being dissolved.
